GINO J. BRUNO, a 1961 graduate of the USC School of Law with
nearly 40 years of private and corporate law experience, serves as
consultant to the Firm. For over twelve years immediately prior to his
tenure with our Firm, Mr. Bruno served as Vice President and Corporate
Counsel to Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate at its national
headquarters, advising senior and field management on a broad range of
legal and business issues. Among other responsibilities, he performed
the
legal work involved in the acquisition and merger of over 175 other
real estate companies with over 500 office locations across the country
into the Coldwell Banker family. He managed real estate purchase, sale
and leasing matters in connection with over 550 offices owned or leased
by the company, including negotiations and document drafting, and in
the process created form books used throughout the company’s various
business units. In addition, Mr. Bruno reviewed all of the company’s
advertising and promotional materials in all media (print, radio,
television, Internet, etc.), as well as the administration and
protection of copyrights, trademarks and service marks for over 80
marks used worldwide. Prior to 1985, Mr. Bruno had been a named partner
in the Law Offices of Jones and Bruno in Arcadia, California where he
handled a wide variety of commercial transactional and litigation
matters representing large corporate clients as well as smaller
entrepreneurs.
In his consulting role with Geiger & Merritt, LLP, Mr. Bruno
continues to utilize his broad experience in handling complex
transactional matters for the Firm.
